The MIMOmesh wireless broadband ad hoc network with dynamic TDMA at the MAC layer and efficient OLSR routing algorithm does not limit the number of network nodes (up to 181 nodes were measured) and the number of jumps (15 hops were measured). It has the greatest flexibility in ad hoc networking compared to the TDMA fixed frame structure that limits the number of nodes and the inefficient Token-Ring protocol.
A. 33-node network with 50+Mbps traffic:
Broadband mesh network with 33 nodes are deployed in a 2 km square area. Second-level real-time topology information updates. A node opens 6 HD dynamic videos at the same time. Some of them include omnidirectional PTZ control. At any time, a total of 50 + Mbps of fully dynamic video data flows through the network without any stutter or interruption.
